Brentsville moved the ball all the way down to the Skyline 6 yard line, but then lost a fumble to the Hawks to end the drive. Skyline could only muster one first down on their next drive, and after a punt of only ten yards, Brentsville started their next series on the Skyline 25 yard line. Things remained scoreless for the rest of the quarter until Skyline moved the ball down the field with a 41 yard pass from Scott to Garcia and four runs by Diggs totaling 34 yards. Ryan Scott ran it in for his third rushing touchdown of the night and the Hawks were up 21-14 with 33 seconds left in the third quarter.
Brentsville was not behind for long, as they kept it on the ground, and on the 5th run in a row, Alex Whitely took it in from 12 yards out to pull it to 21-20 awaiting the conversion. The Tigers chose to run it in for two, and Wilbanks was successful, putting Brentsville up 22-21.
